What did you do to your GS today?

> I purposely refrained from mentioning anything about mis-drilled holes that are out of alignment. I didn't mean any cruelty 'bout the BA door reference...

@JDR76 - About your daughter and the F-Sport's black headliner - A lot of people don't like going to a restaurant or bar where the exposed open ceiling (e.g. trusses, rafters, joists, HVAC ductwork, etc.) is painted black. Psychologically, it makes them feel squeezed emotionally, even depressed to an extent, and can give them a strange sensation in their head making them feel queasy - headachy, nauseous and positively ill - even to the point they desperately seek to escape the overhead black environment. Maybe one can imagine the psychological affects experienced if the ceilings in all the rooms in their house were painted flat black.

My starter motor decided to give up yesterday after 117,000KM. Luckily a mechanic friend stocked a new starter and replaced it for me this morning and now it's up and running again. 2 hour job. The guy's a hero in my eyes else i'm gonna stuck with as the next 3 days is a public holiday.

Needed new tires so I took the opportunity to swap the original 18x8's for a set of 19x8.5 takeoffs from a 2021 IS. Wrapped them in 245/40/19 Michelin Primacy A/S. Walmart had a good deal on them at $171 ea. I've never seen anyone run these on a 4GS before and I like the OEM+ look. Spacers, springs, camber arms on the way.

@CaliColin looks good with the 19" size and slighter wider rubber. They look like a modernized version of the original lux wheels on the 4GS:

Been a while since I posted anything. Was getting the maintenance light when starting my 2013 GSH, so I decided to change the oil. Only the second time I have done it since it was dealer changed in 2021, so figured it was time. (Do not drive it much). Man, this car is low coupled, with I am getting too old for this stuff. Not hard mind you, just not a lot of room to maneuver under there even when jacked up. Didn’t jack up to the point of wheels being off ground, but I don’t like having to crawl so far under to get to the oil plug out. Plus the damn blue washer wouldn’t come off, so it is being reused. No leaks on short drive. Now to go drop off oil today.

This is quite common; and it isn’t the end of the world, just recommend replacing at each oil change.

Next oil change is at dealer. Maybe the rest of the oil changes…

Why I don't change my oil myself anymore. Just not worth the pains. I do have a advantage over what I hear oil changes cost in places like Ca. I can get it done with bringing my own oil to my Toyota shop for like $35. Plus that cartridge filter is a real PITA.

@AJLex19 Do you recall if the lux wheels ever came in a 19? I remember liking those wheels a lot.
