What did you do to your GS today?

I'd be lying if I said I didn't immediately look for a set of takeoff IS300 wheels after seeing this picture. Those look fantastic as an OEM+ upgrade. Unfortunately the cheapest set I could find was $1,450 on eBay from Japan, which is more than I'm willing to pay for takeoff wheels w/o tires.

In a nutshell, it’s exactly what you said. I took a picture of the TPMS sensors beforehand so I could enter their serial numbers into Techstream later. Then I used the Techstream registration screen as shown in the youtube guide to enter the serials in no particular order. Unfortunately the Techstream page just gives you spots 1,2,3,4,5 and isn’t clear which number is which corner. To get the correct wheel to the correct corner, I lowered the pressure on one tire and observed the change on the dash. Then it was just a matter of installing that wheel onto the right corner. There’s definitely a faster way but that’s how I got everything ironed out.

Wait there's a 5th serial #? Does that mean the GS will support a TPMS sensor for the spare???

There is indeed a 5th TPMS slot, though the serial no. field is blank. If we added a 5th TPMS sensor, not sure where it would even display the data since our instrument cluster only shows 4 wheels 🤷♂️

The spare has a maximum air pressure of 60psi, and over a period of a year or so it'll drop down to about half that maximum amount - around 25 - 30psi. That said, if you ever needed to put the spare on the car, you'll want the spare to have near the maximum air pressure so it'll be safe to use - not just half the maximum amount.
While it would be nice to see the spare tire's air pressure somehow on the cluster display, I highly recommend checking and filling the spare tire to 60psi once a year to keep it in a safe and ready condition for use.

Found a set of beat up g37 wheels with new 245/40/19 tires on marketplace. Refinished/repainted them in Toyota Phantom Grey Pearl (1E3). Definitely like the color as that was what I was going for, but I did a pretty **** job refinishing them, all in all I them better than the 18in stock ones that were on it before. Gives it a bit more of an fsport look without being an fsport, and also almost got rid of the monster truck look on stock 18's as well.

Milestone today. Also, my battery appears to be toast. Driving it or not, it can’t hold a charge.

Dropped the GS off this morning to have the battery issue taken care of.
They gave me a new RX500h F Sport loaner. Not a bad ride for the day!
