For those keeping track, this is my second attempt to plasti dip my chrome trim, spent all day Sunday doing it and still disappointed with the results due to some tearing on some parts. Will have to bust out some paint thinner this weekend and redo them.

Also tried vinyl wrapping my tail lights with a smoky vinyl, managed to get the flat part on the back of one without any problems, but the side was a b**** to do, because of the 2 small protrusions, and it was getting dark. Decided to just leave it on to see how it would look. I personally like it, makes it kind of look like the 2016 tail lights.

for the vinyl wrap for the tails with the little protrusions you just have to cut them out because the film will not wrap nicely over those sharp edges. That's how I did mine and it looks great. You literally cannot tell that those protrusions are not wrapped

Wow, thanks! I wish I would've known that before. Ended up throwing away the other part because I was so frustrated. I can see how you wouldn't be able to tell the protrusions aren't wrapped though. I had to double check the section where I wrapped to see I didn't peel off the actual wrap when I peeled off the protective layer, it was that subtle.

When you cut the wrap do you just lay it down then make two slits where the protrusions are then use some heat to let it shrink around it?

I use the template so first I laid some paper over the entire tail light, but I marked off the protrusion, cut them out and then cut a piece of film to the same size.

Your way would probably work but I would worry about getting a good cut without damaging the tail light

noticable difference for sure.
Care to share which exact rotors these are and what pads you choose? Website? Hows the noise and dust? In the market for new rotors and pads. Too many options , reviews , its driving me crazy. Stuck between Powerstop cross drilled, R1 concepts or Stoptech. Thanks in ad advance.

i just bought R-1 Concept rotors(Drilled and slotted) and optimum brake pads to compliment than. Hopefully they’ll be ready for pick up this week so I can get them on!

Legal limit in Kentucky is like 35% on those front windows. Good luck, man.

You should be fine. I've lived here all my life. Some cops have a hard on for pulling people with dark windows over, while others couldn't care less.

Looks good.
