Got my windows tinted, 35%...should've went a tad darker.
I had the same issue when I did tints on my last car, I ended up having them install a layer of 50 over it, the net result is (.35x.50)17.5% tint. In my opinion it was perfect.

On the GS I did 20% all around.
Yeah, I should've said maybe 30% or 25%. I thought the factory tint that was already on the car would've made the 35% turn into 30%, but I guess I was wrong.
Yup. so the blue tiles I have are called FreeFlow tiles. They are basically a mesh tile. I have them where I park around the outside of the vehicle, where my car will deposit all the rain water it collects when it rains everyday during the summer here in Florida.
The water drains through the tile and then either evaporates out or if there is enough water, will drain out the front of the garage since my garage floor is ever so slightly graded.
The tiles are very easy to remove if you ever do need to lift them up to do a deep clean underneath. You just pry one or two up with a putty knife and then you do the rest by hand. Then just hammer them back in when you're done.
For snowy/wet climates, I don't see how using the Free Flow tiles is any different than having just bare concrete in your garage. The snow and moisture would end up there anyway, but with the FreeFlow tiles it will melt down under the tile and evaporate from there, leaving your tile surface much cleaner/quicker to dry. Since the tiles are mesh, you aren't trapping the liquid down there as there is still enough airflow to allow for proper evaporation. I have not experienced any mold growth or anything on account of the moisture yet. I've even pressure washed the entire tile structure once to get a nice clean on it, then just left the garage open all day to dry out.
Thanks for this. It, unfortunately, tells me that I cant do this. I sweep piles (literally) of salt out of my garage on a regular basis which would mean picking up the entire floor to sweep.

The tiles fit tightly together so you wouldn't have to worry about salt falling through if you went with solid tile patterns and not the mesh ones. But, even the patterned tiles would make sweeping and getting all the salt out difficult as some would inevitably get stuck in the patterns.
Seems like smooth floor is the best bet unless you can use a blower, but who wants to do that in the winter?
Unlock is from VAIS (2015 GS)
2012-2014 has a different model number (ULM-71)
I used the following videos to help with the install (Install took 30-45 minutes, very easy to do) Install Video (BeatSonic, but its the same install) 2015 Additional Step (only need to do this for 2015+, this seems tricky at first, but watch the video a few times before attempting)
For iPhone Mirroring, I read the IS and GX forums and figured out the following:
The AUX in our arm rest can actually take in Video, so I used the following to connect to my iPhone to AUX:
Coupler may need to play around with connections here red to yellow, yellow to white, white to red, etc.
Composite to HDMI you don't have to use this, there are several different options, but some work and some don't, I used this b/c someone on the IS/GX forums said it worked
HDMI Cable any size or you could use an HDMI Coupler
Washed, clayed, used a one-step polish (Griots Fast Correcting Cream), and CarGuys Hybrid wax with Turtle Wax Ice Spray on top this weekend. Kind of disappointed with the results to be honest. Not as shiny as I would've liked, and there are still some scratches on the car. Probably should've waited until I got Jescar's Power Lock and Collonite 845 in the mail this week.
You think I can layer those on at the end of this week, or would that be a waste of time?
Spoiler Alert! $104 on eBay, painting and shipping included in price.
No drilling, 3M adhesive tape, excellent quality of manufacture and painting.
Note: spoiler came with dark foam 3M 1/4" tape. I used 3M VHD Clear 1/4" instead because it's easier to remove later (the foam is weaker than the adhesive, whereas the rubber VHD is also the adhesive).
Album link (bonus: stuff in my garage and spring pollen)

Thanks for the warning! Haha
Would you happen to have any profile pictures of the whole car? Would love to see how it blends in with the overall shape of the car. How hard was it to remove the existing spoiler?
