Roof spoiler is a cheap one I got off Ebay two years ago for like $60 I believe. Originally was supposed to be temporary until I got an official CF one but I liked it so I kept it on there haha. As for the two things under the spoiler, I originally had a Lux spoiler which left the drill holes that could be seen when replacing with the CF spoiler on the car currently. They're actually just white push type rivet pins with black housings I used to plug the holes. Most people say they just look like two more sensors in person lol. (Again, was supposed to be temporary until I filled the holes and repainted the trunk but I didn't mind them so I just left it as is.)

Gotcha! Just wasn't sure what that could have been!

ckwraps on youtube is probably your best source for anything wrap related.

NP,

The pic is a little dim, I guessing taken close to sunset... so I can't really make out the finish of the grill trim. Is that a gloss finish of something like a semi-matte or semi-gloss. Vinyl or dipped?

I want to do the grill trim on my '15 Obsidian but would rather go with a low-gloss finish... any brighter pics?

Thanks!

Hey ph0bolus... I saw the splash guards you picked up on Amazon, and I need a set for my '15 Obsidian, but I'm undecided whether to paint to match the car or leave unpainted.

How long have you have yours on? How are they holding up? Do you wish you had painted them, or do you still prefer them unpainted?

Thanks!

Hey the chrome around the grill is wrapped in gloss black vinyl. You could do a matte black vinyl wrap too, or plastdip which has a matte finish. I would avoid dipping cuz of so much Masking/risk of overspray or having to remove the bumper to take the trim off.

Default Window tint

Had my windows tinted today. 5% on the rear and 20 on the fronts. I was gonna get the windshield tinted too but they didn’t have 50% they offered 35 but I don’t want it too dark. Anyone with tinted windshield have any issues with auto headlights, vision at night, etc?

I have 5's all around, and 20% sunstrip on the windshield. I plan on doing my windshield with 50% in the coming few weeks. 50% is the lowest I would go. Anything less, and you become a hazard not only to yourself but the general community. At 50%, it's hard to tell from the inside that you even have tints. But anything else like 35%, you begin to severely reduce your visibility. My friend had 20% on his windshield and almost crashed his car several times. Be safe, be smart, get 50% or above.

Hey, chinee, they're holding up just great, and I've had them since maybe January. I like the unpainted look because it goes with the gray/black theme I have throughout my car. I think I read on this forum somewhere about someone buying a painted set for around $300. I couldn't justify that price tag just for it to match my paint.

Thanks for the feedback... I think I'll try them unpainted. I'm assuming it should be close to the plastic color under the rear bumper (I think). Just got the '15 GS last weekend so there's still lots I'm finding out about the car.... and based on this thread, LOTS of ideas to I want to add! With obsidian, I'm trying to think of any little thing I can do to keep the dirt off, other than just leaving the GS in the garage.
