Hey the chrome around the grill is wrapped in gloss black vinyl. You could do a matte black vinyl wrap too, or plastdip which has a matte finish. I would avoid dipping cuz of so much Masking/risk of overspray or having to remove the bumper to take the trim off.
NP,
I will certainly look into the vinyl. But I've got to watch lots more application videos, to figure out how to cut the vinyl to fit around the edges. It's been a while since I've had a car I wanted to tinker with, so using vinyl this way, and plasti-dipping is brand new to me. Thanks again!
Had my car paint corrected yesterday. The previous owner really neglected the paint. Had so many swirl marks and a few deep scratches due to improper washing. Had a 2 stage polish done with gyro ceramic coating. Iam very happy with the job they done.
Looks beautiful! I want to do a paint correction on mine but not sure if I am comfortable enough with polishing. I have never polished a car before. Watching some YouTube videos lol.

If you use a dual action polisher (not a random orbital) and a light finishing polish (say, meguiars M205) it's pretty much idiot proof and you really won't risk your finish at all.

Before your comment, I was actually looking at this Porter Cable random orbit polisher: http://a.co/6PlkzLl. Do you think it I could use this along with the light-medium M205 to get a decent result?

The DA from Harbor Freight does the job just fine, it's like $50 with a coupon.
Nice set up! Think you can post a video of how quite the compressors are?
I'll post a YouTube link once i get the video uploaded. Its noticeably loud in the video. Not as much in person. You can't hardly tell if you're in the cabin. So far. Very happy with it. It's equivalent to 2x Viair 480.
Had my windows tinted today. 5% on the rear and 20 on the fronts. I was gonna get the windshield tinted too but they didn’t have 50% they offered 35 but I don’t want it too dark. Anyone with tinted windshield have any issues with auto headlights, vision at night, etc?

But anything else like 35%, you begin to severely reduce your visibility. My friend had 20% on his windshield and almost crashed his car several times. Be safe, be smart, get 50% or above.
I have 50% on my windshield no issues with auto headlights or night vision. The front is ceramic and you really don't notice it. Its mainly for heat rejection. I agree, anything lower will probably start to affect your night vision.
