Door Edge Guards. Not perfectly even but I'll take every little bit of protection I can get.

lol I had these when I bought the car and I ripped them off. Couldn't stand it on a white car with the amount of dirt that always gets caught along the edge.

I bought the OEM ones about a year back and have not had a single piece of dirt get between the door and the guard. They are hammered in with a rubber mallet. If you use anything that uses adhesive, it's going to lift and cause dirt lines. Best to pony up some $ and buy good non-adhesive edge guards.

Yup the ones that came on my car were dealer installed adhesive backed edge guards.
I can see non adhesive ones avoiding the dirt problem

I had these on obsidian and apart from wax that I removed with a toothpick, they were pretty good, hence the reason I installed on my Plat. But on white, geez... saw a 2015 white CPO a few weeks ago and it was simply awful. I don’t understand why the dealer didn’t just simply have their detail crew remove that “black stick lining” from the door edge.
So like everything else, it’s got to be maintained. These are the 3M that I picked up on Amazon for ~ $7.50 per pkg, each pkg does 2 doors. So if they get dirty, or my installation sucks, I’ll just remove them.
i saw the OEM edge guards on the website but thought they looked too visible, if you’ve got them installed, I need to go back and look at some of your pics.

I'm at work right now so unfortunately the pictures below are low quality. But the guards do not stick out. They are color specific from Lexus so when I purchased mine, I had to buy ones for the 2MH/083 paint code. They match perfectly with the factory paint and are not that visible and I can say they are working great so far. I have them on both the front and rear doors.
Finally figured out the wiring for my fogs. Had to unplug the harness and test the pins to see which had power with lights on, not sure why I didn't try that before. But anyway they work and look awesome.

Yeah, the pics are too low res to make out any detail but thanks for posting. I also searched but there aren't many pics out there in internet-land. It's not an expensive option so I might just go into the dealer to take a look.
By the way... nice ride! Post some high res pics so we can get the full effect of what you did with your 4GS...!

What lip is that? I have the same color car and have been thinking about getting fogs; that lip makes them look great!

Here you go, here are some better shots. I'll take a few pictures tomorrow when I leave for work.

Thanks!... make sure you include the lower chrome strip (a la LS460) as well! That's a piece of bling I've been eyeing for a couple of months. Still not sure though...
