I recently purchased a 2015 GS 350 F-Sport - Atomic Silver as I personally prefer the look of the 13-15's. The 16+ is still growing on me. The 13-15 GS 350 is one great looking car and will age very well over the years.

Yeah I was battling with myself about which color I wanted, the PS, AS, or NG, and in the end I picked the NG, probably because of the Velgen photo that I posted above. I got very lucky finding my pre-owned 2015 with such low miles (14.5k). I was watching the market thru cargurus.com for a while, and when a low mile 2015, NG, with Cab interior and ML came up about 5 miles away from my work, I couldn't resist checking it out (even though I wasn't suppose to buy a new car until mid 2017). I found the car on a Friday, took my wife to check it out on Saturday, the place was closed Sunday and I called in Monday morning to tell him I was coming in after work to do the deal. My trade-in / buying experience was really great - www.autocentrix.com in Carrollton,TX.

Sweet your in dallas also, I saw this dealer when buying my car but they were charging full retail prices which i obviously didn't wanna pay. I got a 14 with ML,Hud and dynamic rear steer which I really feel comes in handy turning the car at 45-50 mph speed lol.

Yup, in Dallas. I was also wanting dynamic rear steering and HUD, but in the end decided that the right color combo F sport with ML was really all that I needed. Plus, I was really getting itchy fingers to pull the trigger and get into a new car. I think I bought my car at the right time, the dealer mentioned that during the last few months of the year nationwide car prices are at a low, and starting January the start rising again. Seems legit, I can't find my car with the same options, similar miles for near the amount I paid for it right now. He gave me a really reasonable trade-in value for my 2008 IS350 even though it had 170k miles.

I prefer the13-15 front and rear fascias, but the new look is growing on me. I am eagerly anticipating the next re-design of the GS. I am guessing that is 3 years away. I think if the designers start with a clean slate then the elements like the spindle grill work better....I like the new LS both inside and out. I really want the next GS-F, but I imagine that is going to be even more than 3 years away. Long wait.

Lower it and you'll fall back in love with it like I did

Outdated? To each their own.
I suppose if you have ADD and a ton of money flowing out your pocket, go for the latest and greatest.

My thoughts exactly LOL. I for one are not trying to play "keeping up with the Joneses", because when the new release comes out in 2020, you'll be right back here saying asking the same question about the 16-19. I love the way my 15 looks.

True statement - i still like the 3GS lol...Last year, I saw a rare-bird...it was a 2009 GS460 in Silver parked outside a bank.

The car was in mint condition and was real fresh...for someone who may not know, that '09 GS460 could've been mistaken for a brand new car. It made me appreciate how the GS's simply have aged quite well through every generational refresh.

lexus made the mistake of not starting off with the spindle grill in 2013, like they did with the IS.. the current gen IS doesn't looked outdated, even in 2014 form

Yes I saw the is250 and new GS the IS didn't look outdated, intact Lexus didn't change much in the newer IS's

I agree with you.

Although I do like the 16+ designs, I think that both models look very sharp, as long as the 13-15 is also in good condition and cared for (i.e. paint buffed, esp for darker colors, waxed, wheels cleaned, etc)

Also, the GS is really not a popular model, and even in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area, where the mean income in many areas easily exceeds $100k, there are not that many GS's out there. That definitely helps with making the 13-15 not look so dated. If the GS was as popular as say a 13-15 Acura RDX vs 16+ RDX, then I'd probably feel differently lol
I agree with you, in the MVA area you mostly see the ES in my opinion. I'm torn between the 2015 and the 2016 as i'm looking to buy one use later on this summer or earlier. It's a must to have the Pre collision system and it's hard to find in the 2015 and previous, you see more 2016's with it, but the price of the 2015 obviously is lower and low mileage CPO is starting to seems very attractive to me. I like them both styles and also the IS350 which is essentially the same engine.

"l'll take door #2 Bob". One and three are just Butt-Ugly and way too pretentious. Gee, I wonder why Lexus sales have plummeted with the new update models?
