Anyone buy the reflective vinyl front grill logo yet?

I had the emblem installed on my 16 GSF, BUT after 5 days I had to take it off. The reflective emblem was interfering with the pre collision system and the radar cruise control. Once I took it off, everything went back to normal. I'm assuming the reflective emblem was blocking the electronics behind the emblem since I have a clear vinyl sheet protecting the emblem which did not cause interference, and which I had a new one put back on.
Wasted 30 + install fee, but was worth a shot.

You can easily look up the film online:
3M 680-10 Scotchlite Reflective Graphic Film White, 15 in x 50 yd = price of $659.10, no tax, free shipping.
This means this stuff costs$3.51 per square foot. That's a very large profit margin over materials, not to consider low overhead.

Did anyone install some type of film to protect the logo sticker after install from road debris/general outdoor weathering? How well will the sticker stand-up to the typical wear/tear of being attached to the front?

Ordered one yesterday, said they didn't have the red in stock until Friday.
I said I'd wait. You can't rush aesthetic mods.
