Driver door handle leather wrinkled
#16
^This. I have this on the passenger side. Saw it, thought about escalating this to Lexus, and decided that it would be an uphill battle, or more issues would arise from this. Especially since hte door areas seem to be the most rattle prone area of the car.

I have no wrinkles on the inside door handle/ledge/arm rest for either side - driver or passenger. I do not have a habit of resting my left arm on the arm rest ledge, as I tend to lean to the right when I drive toward the shifter, and I rest my right arm on the center console cover. My habit of opening the car door is simply to push it open using my left forearm near the elbow on the trim that is level with the latch.

I push the grip area on the picture below when I was opening the door.
Now I am trying to change my habit of pushing the top plastic panel area instead of the grip.
It's not a defect with these cars, but rather poor design.

Lexus is still one of the more comfortable brands to be cruising in. Long lasting, looks great. Not as fun to drive from an acceleration standpoint unless you have an F model. I wish Lexus still had a Non-F GS V8 powered model.

I second this. I love both brands for what they are... BMW just is more sporty and spunkier to drive around. I miss my 550i... solid performing car and plenty quick for a heavy *** car. the textured plastics in the car wear down fast like it was plastidipped... Seals go bad around 100k.

The GS F sport drives better than the 550 and 535i M Sport IMO, actually by a fairly wide margin when in sport +
The G30 certainly looks promising.

the leather is fine, but the window switch panels kind of have the similar effect of the melting dash in the is300s from back in the day...
