Hey guys! Just like the title says, Im debating on trading in my 2007 LS460 75k black on black fully loaded for a CPO 2014 GS350 FSport awd 16k white on red non ML. Any advice on how these GS350 hold up? comfort, driving and other basic things. I love my music and Im a bit iffy about not having ML in the GS. Please list Positives and Negatives of your ownership. Any input is really appreciated! Thanks =]

Wow, very low mileage older LS! I'm destined to find one for myself in the near future. I personally love my GS all around and I am keeping it for the long term, so I don't care about the depreciation. It's a solid, reliable, luxury Toyota
I'm big into audio so the ML system was a must for me. If I were you I'd do a personal comparison of both systems and just see if the extra cost is worth it for you.
Let's see some pics of the LS!

I did the swap in reverse. They're very different cars, good at different things. The GS is very comfortable, but much smaller which is most noticeable in the back. LS is quieter and much softer, powertrain in the GS is harsher, less refined. Not as solid as the LS, the LS is less prone to rattles, etc. But, its a lot nimbler, a lot more fun to drive, has a lot more personality.
It will definitely be an adjustment. I assume you've driven the GS extensively?

LS looks great, good luck with the sale. I would avoid trading it in if you don't mind the hassle, with the condition and low mileage you'll get much more on the private market.
Anyways, I love my GS350 F Sport. Would highly recommend!

The GS is an amazing car but a different animal than the LS. It's extremely comfortable, in a sporty kind of way vs. an isolated, plush way. My '14 F Sport is bank vault solid and the interior quality is impeccable. Performance is very adequate and the handling is on par with the Germans. Of course outstanding reliability is a given, as with any Lexus. Good luck selling your great looking LS! There are plenty of GS's to chose from so find the right one for you. My only regret is not buying one with Mark Levinson.

I have a GS FSports loaded with most the options Hud, ML etc but when I drive my brothers 2011 LS460 it's a different level of comfort. Guys with with luxury package might have a different experience can chime in aswell.

I went from 2006 LS 430 loaded to a 2014 GS 350 Rwd luxury package loaded. The GS is definatly much more fun to drive spiritedly. If your commute involves lots of curves then get the GS. And if you mostly spend time driving in a straight line or bumper to bumper traffic go with the LS. The LS is definatly quieter and smoother. You will not be able to feel road imperfections or hear much wind noise in the LS. Steering feel in LS is numb. The GS will give you more feedback of the road and through the steering with makes it not as smooth as LS. The GS can take sharp turns at 80+ mph without loosing grip "if properly equipped with correct tires" At best the LS can take a sharp turn no faster that 60 mph. Both cars will do decent straight line acceleration but will not be faster than german compeditors turbo 6's.
The GS is built on a newer platform dating back to 2013. While the current model LS 2017's platform dates back to 2007. I may go ahead and switch back to a LS when the all new LS 500 gets released in America as a 2018 or 2019 model. I hope that TTV6 is worth the jump from an NAV8. After owning the GS i kinda miss driving an LS. You know what they say once you tried the best "LS" nothing else will ever satisfy you. I hope you make the right choice. Really you cant go wrong with either car. As long as it's not an ES or a CT and you will be fine.

I also went from a 2006 LS 430 with the Custom Luxury package to a new 2016 GS 350 with the luxury package. I loved the LS and the GS is a fun car to drive. It's comfortable but not an LS. I would encourage you to spend time driving and riding in a GS to ensure you'd be happy with the switch.
