Ok guys here is an update. I took my car to my local shop to have the rear tires replace. i told my local mechanic to check the front suspension n see if he could find anything thats causing the vibration. Apparently he found that my LOWER CONTROL ARMS are bad n need to be replace. He said thats whats cousing the vibration n making my engine misfire at 70mph..... does anyone know if that can be the case??

What caused your lower control arms to need replacement? Why are your tires wearing like that?

Are you going to a quality tire shop that has a Hunter GPS9700 Road Force Balancer to balance your wheels/tires? Are you going to search for a tire shop that has a tire spinner to determine if your rotating mass (wheel/tire/rotor) at each corner is imbalanced?

Do you have someone you trust to get a proper alignment?

Your engine is not misfiring... I thought we had this settled!

Being on lower suspension with large wheels like 20's is going to make the bushings wear out faster. The control arms don't really go bad its the bushings in them. You can try to move the wheels when they are off the ground to see if there is play. You need to replace those tires asap too, why are you driving like that? Looks like you need an allignment with your camber wearing the tires like that unless you are setting the camber to make the wheels fit better. I think you have more issues causing your symptoms than you realize.

Yes there is play on the wheels thats why he said they are bad due too bigger wheels. Rear tires have been replace since two days ago. I had already gotten an alignment done n yes i have a bit camber due to after market springs (RSR Super Downs)

Tires wont cause a misfire. It could cause the sensation of the engine having a misfire.

You said you have a check engine light that comes on? Do you also have the traction control or abs light on too? Either of these lights could be related to the tire/wheel bearing/hub/abs sensor and would trigger the check engine light. What is the exact check engine light code?

If it's truly just a check engine light you may just happen to have two problems show up around the same time.

Either way, replace the tires first then proceed from there.
