Trunk seal replacement

Anybody get their trunk seal replaced? My '14 has a section of the seal that's damaged close the the rear window. While the seal overall looks to be in very good condition, even lightly touching that area flakes a bunch of pieces off, a disintegration of sorts. Since it's along the "fold axis" that would crease when the seal is compressed (the strip of holes in the seal), my guess is it could go a rather long time without repair and not cause much issue. However it's something I'd rather replace under warranty than be forced to pay later.
Has anybody had theirs replaced? Any gotchas to watch out for, such as additional damage done by dealers or trunk leaks after seal replacement? (I really don't want a trunk leak....)

Dealer should be able to replace It right , I replaced mine on the Bmw and it came out fine. Anyone had a bmw know their seals are pathetic and start falling apart in 2-3 years. Did It happened itself or something happened to the seal ?

It was like that when I bought it CPO, but didn't notice until after I had the car home & did my first window cleaning -- when I opened the trunk to wipe water from the area under the window, I saw it looked rough and was disintegrating a bit. Based on how it is disintegrating, it seems more like defective material -- I would expect the foam could take some damage without falling apart so easily, and it really seems to be that section, the rest of the seal is in good shape.
