When I had it all ready for shows, lowered on J5 coilovers which I recommend no one get. Most of the parts are sold but yeah I do miss the exhaust sound for sure.

hey black, do you mind letting us know why you don't like the J5? Which coils would you recommend?

I know! In hindsight, I probably should have gone Tanabe but it definitely looks better than stock. I had a '13 as well as I think the factory height might be higher on my '16 as I never felt the need to lower the '13. Appreciate the compliments!

The problems with j5 was really the customer service, they did not answer quickly it would two or three days to get back and then replacement parts took sometimes weeks or months to finally come in. They are based out of Korea so language barrier is one and trying to talk to someone is another problem. The product was ok nothing failed until 2 1/2 years later so it did ok I'll say. I only chose these cause they worked with the avs. I would go with rs-r without a doubt.

What are your wheel and tire specs, any rubbing?

This car looks awesome, too! I'm assuming you're RWD and not AWD?

Love the clean look of these two... trying to go a similar route myself. What is the concensus on the RSR Downs vs. the Tanabe NF210s?

Thanks for the info, I have another question for you did you wrap/paint the lower inserts/ducts black? same for the lower half of the grill that's a gunmetal color? I plan to wrap my chrome trim on my 2017 and wondering if most have wrapped those parts black as well as the chrome trim around the grill.
