Default Thinking about used 2015 F Sport purchase

A local Honda dealer has a 15 Ultra white with Cabernet interior for 35k even, 25,000 miles. Is original warranty still good for 4 years 50k miles? And looking at it briefly how do I determine if it has the Mark Levenson audio in it? The salesman know very little about the car, don't know if I should walk away and look for a Lexus CPO car or continue to look at this one, my wife has a 2013 ES350 which I have come to appreciate (wish she had bought a GS but it's her money) every time I see a GS on the road I still admire them, they haven't gotten stale in my eyes and the white with dark red interior is still my top choice.

On how to identify different options, such as ML, check out this very useful thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-pictures.html

Yes, the 4/50 warranty is transferable. The ML audio can be identified, because it is marked "Mark Levinson"

If it's 2015, the warranty should be good until 2018-2019 (if the car was purchased in 2014 for instance, it would be 2018). Of course if you hit 50k miles before that, then warranty stops there.

To identify Mark Levinson...you should see it visibly saying so above the red hazard button (so in between the hazard button and the CD slot for CD player). If this area is blank, then it is not Mark Levinson equipped.

I just got back from a Lexus dealer and dealt with what seemed to be a very knowledgeble sales fellow, he explained to me that the F Sport automatically comes as a "loaded" car including Mark Levinson. He said you can't really add anything unless you go GS450. True or False? We did audition both the regular and ML and the regular is quite good, but since I am somewhat of an audiophile the ML is something I like. I was looking at the RC and while I like its outsides, the interior seems really tight or small to me, and I'm not a big guy at all.

There are lots of F Sports out there without ML.

From the photos of the dealer ad it looks like it has ML, the photos are a little fuzzy when zoomed but I think I see the ML signage.

I have a 2014 F Sport with no ML. Although the salesman may have sounded knowledgable he was probably one of 2 things, either a rookie or a guy too lazy to develop his product knowledge skills. One thing that infuriates me as a customer more than anything else is when I know more about the vehicle than the salesperson.....and I sold Honda's and Acuras for 3 years as a "pre-retirement" job. Customer "after sale" surveys would expose such laziness. I'm sure Lexus employees are graded by customer surveys too. You are correct the Lexus Premium stereo is very good but the ML is audiophile worthy. Wish mine had it.

So it sounds like this Lexus salesman was the average "Joe" sales guy, we all know them, I typically know MUCH more than most salesman, talk is cheap, knowledge isn't. I will make a list of all the features I like from the above link and check to see how many this car has, ML will be the first and best on the list.

Oh, and I just wanted to add, we here are car people, 90% of salesman are just that and not car guys (and girls).
