Yes I bought the drop in K&N air filter for my 2013....there's a SLIGHT difference in throttle response I believe. If you're willing to spend ~$60 for an air filter, go for it. It is reusable though so that is the good part about it.

I hear that the K&N air intake is no good because it doesn't use the sound generator, so it is actually quieter than stock.

I'm also looking at the Takeda intake, which doesn't use the sound generator but is louder because it is an open air design.

K&N intake is garbage, don't waste your money.

If the OP is referring to the filter itself (drop in), there's nothing wrong with K&N. In fact, if you hold both the K&N and stock filter together, it's hard to imagine the stock filter flowing as well. As for the full "CAI" intakes, I doubt if any of them would make more power than just the K&N drop in, as the stock box is pretty decent. Sound effects only I would think.

My bad. The filters are fine. Thought OP was referring to CAI. So many threads recently worrying about intakes.

I think it's worth it as it is reusable and "may" even give you a little more power. I eventually did the whole K&N intake pipe (with the stock air box) and filter. The sound generator had to go in my opinion and I like the setup now A LOT better than the original solution.

I have always used K&N filters, so I already owned the cleaning solution and spray oil.
