The old Chinese Viofo A119/S are single channel.
The new A129 is twin channel.
Hi def 1920 x 1080 @ 30 fps front and rear, using Sony's Starvis sensor with amongst the best video quality day and night.

It has 3 parking modes:
1) Non-prebuffered motion activated 60 second recording, but because it is not prebuffered, so once motion activates the recorder, you want the previous 30 seconds or whatever, but it has not recorded the past 30 seconds.
2) Time lapse photography at 1 to 10 FPS, but no audio.
3) 4 Mbps Low Bit Rate low quality continuous recording with audio.

It has buttons with 2" LCD, and also has wi fi.
Has optional CPL circular polarizing lens filter to reduce dashboard reflections, and an optional GPS sensor.

It has a 17% 1 Star Review on amazon.com, and a 20% 1 & 2 Star Reviews combined, but then it's only $160.
By comparision, a StreetGuardian SG9665DC @ $275 has only a 5% 1 Star Review, and a 7% combined 1 & 2 Star Review on amazon, but this camera is only single channel and $275.
Apparently, the A129 can play up now and then, and not be recording at all - according to some owners.
When the A129 works, it is pretty good.

Overall, not the best out there, but the A129 is very good value for money.

Ok. Thanks for your detailed response. I am going to give that one a shot. I am just looking for something middle of the road. It seems to be a good model based on the reviews from different sites I read.

I bought the Viofo A129 camera and setup per the information in this thread. I was able to use the fuse box in the passenger side. I purchased two circuit fuse taps and connected them as shown in the thread. The camera works great and goes into Parking mode as designed. If you do buy this camera, make sure you connect the power to the camera itself and not the gps base unit. It will not enable Parking mode unless it is connected directly. The vendor doesn't do a good job documenting this and I had to search other forums to get that information.

I agree with this, and its also easier to wire.
