No rubbing issues for me -I am at stock height but not sure if there would be any rubbing once lowered. I've seen another CL member who had the same exact wheels and wheel/tire specs as me and is lowered...he never mentioned rubbing issues.
Nice addition! I do rub the liner only when turning full and reversing.
As I didn't want to go the CF mirror cover overlay route again or have my mirrors painted, I decided to just buy some factory painted black replacement mirrors to contrast with the Starfire Pearl and my other black/CF accents. I ordered a base set with no BSM or anything (as I just needed the outer cover and base anyway) and then took them apart. Installed the outer covers so far and will do the bases when I have a chance (have to remove the door panels to do...didn't feel like it this day). Here are some pics of it so far and will update once the bases are switched out too.
After I took the replacement mirrors apart...
where did you buy the black bases from? mind PMing the piece?

The bases ended up being the wrong ones and didn't have the correct holes to match the wiring and screws for my mirrors. They came with the particular replacement mirrors I got off Ebay. If you do this I recommend making sure they are the exact mirror replacements that match your mirror options (i.e. heated mirrors, BSM etc.). I have gotten used to the black mirrors with the white bases now so I never went seeking black bases again. I may wrap the bases black eventually.
