Yes, you can get the clamp for less than a dollar at Home Depot. It's definitely worth the extra security. Not sure how yours stayed on, but mine wouldn't stay with the original clip. Glad to hear that you like the intake though!

I just took off my engine cover and discovered my hose was completely off. I guess I was driving last night like that, didn't see any check engine codes. I guess I lost alot of power with that off.

Yup, that's exactly what happened to me. Except the first time i drove it around, there was no CEL. It wasn't until I started the engine again that the CEL came on, so just a heads up.

I ordered from ModinJapan. I been waiting about 3 1/2 weeks so far. Supposedly they had issues at the manufacturer... I have AWD model so I went with that one.

Uh oh that doesn't sound good. I may order mine from Carson Toyota and pick it up since I live locally to that dealership. Are the manufacturing issues related to AWD only? I have RWD so I'm hoping that there aren't any issues since they have sold so many of them already.

I'm not sure which models effected. I ordered from them cause they promote so much on the forum and also thought they carried stock.

I have the polished takeda as well. I went a different route than everyone else, I had a local shop install some magna flow on her and turned out to be a perfect set up for me.
