did u talk to the gm of the dealer? when you called lexus costumer service did u tell them the car is a cpo car and you just brought it recently and the dealership not helping you? cpo car should have brand new stuff, if it just resurfacing the rotor and slapping some pads on it just going to be called used car.

Follow my direction to the T.
Make an appointment with a new service adviser and go back to the dealer. Tell them you hear "clicking noises" and squeal on the front rotors and there's a tsb out for it. DO NOT bring up your vibration or anything else PERIOD. Tell them there's a new front rotors part for this problem and it is a 1 piece rotor instead of a 2 piece design.

Do you happen to have the part number for the new 1 piece rotors?

Wanted to chime in and let you guys know that we're in the process of creating our own 2-piece rotors for the FSport model here at R1 Concepts. We do know that no other company besides the dealership offers these 2-piece rotors yet on the market. We hope to have these available by the end of the year!

I wanted to follow up with everyone. Lexus customer care has stepped in and my local dealer says they should have the go ahead to replace the rotors and tires next week. Also, I talked to the GM of the original dealer and he was absolutely no help and just told me that it was my local dealers way of sticking it to me for not buying my car from them. I'll let you all know how it all pans out and BTW they are still stocking the 2 piece rotors so that's probably what I'll get as a replacement.

I want replacement rotors that retain the OE alloy center "hat".

If you guys need someone to "test" a set of those I would be glad to slap them on mine and provide some feedback.

I'll definitely let you know! Also just found out that there are 1-piece replacement rotors as well so we'll be working on that too. These will be for those that are not looking to spend much on 2-piece rotors which do cost quite a bit.

Ok guys I have another "update" on my brake issue and vibration. I called my customer service person "Ava" today after not hearing anything from them since last Thursday and she tells me that they feel that the car needs to be taken to the dealer that I bought it from for evaluation and repair. At that point I asked how they planned to get it there and she said someone would drive it. I then told her that I did not want my car driven 300 miles (round trip to purchasing dealer) for a repair that could be made at my local dealer and that I had trouble trusting a dealer that I already knew cut corners when certifying my car. She told me that she guessed it could be towed and that she had a list of things from my local dealer that they felt should be evaluated by the dealer in Nashville, TN. When I asked what the items were she got quite and told me "brakes and some other things". When i asked for a copy of the list she said she couldn't share it with me. The more I thought about the situation the madder i got, so I called them back and conveniently Ava nor here supervisor were available and I was told the would return my call by COB tomorrow.

At this point I am fearing that my COP car was wrecked by the previous owner and the damage was covered up without being reported to carfax and Lexus it trying to cover something up. Does anyone know if there is someone else with Lexus that I can get some help from because their customer service is a JOKE!!
