Default General G Max AS05 Tires

Great price and so far so good but only one day... 4 tires @$500 including mounting and balancing. Rolled the dice on this upgrade.

generals are great all around tires for the price. i think bridgestone manufacture's them. unless you're tracking your car, these are an awesome buy

General's parent company is actually Continental Tires.

Looked hard at the Conti DWS 06 but the special introductory price on Gmax with incentive could not be ignored. They are very quiet but again they very new. Pirellis and BF Goodrich also considered but the Goodrich are on national back order.

I had the General G-Max as replacements for the garbage Goodyear F1s that came on my 2012 Camaro, I really liked them.. The sidewalls are a bit stiff for a sports car, and I could tell the difference in hard corning over the F1's but since my Camaro was a daily driver it wasn't a big deal as I didn't hard corner very often..

The ride was better, the life was 3x the Goodyear's, and they did much better on the garbage pot hole filled Los Angeles roads.

GMax 03 not same as 05. Preliminary reports indicate big improvement and the 03 was not a bad tire for the money.
