Using the Speedibleed is much cleaner and quicker for Toyota cars.

The Motive pressure bleeder requires one to wrap a chain around the brake fluid reservoir cap and master cylinder. I've had it leak due to it being misaligned or not on tight enough which causes a huge mess in the engine bay/floor.
The Speedibleed is a cap with a thick rubber seal inside and uses wingnuts to secure on the brake fluid reservoir. The Speedibleed includes a pressure gauge which is much higher quality and accurate than the Motive one.

Not trying to sell anyone on the Speedibleed, only stating what my experience has been after owning both. Both do a good job if setup correctly, but given how Toyota's don't have a "screw cap" design for the brake fluid reservoir, the Speedibleed is cleaner and quicker.
Yup! I had no mess at all with the Speedibleed.

Default Just changed.

I just changed mine using the old way, my gf was helping me pressing the brake. The whole process around 2.5 hrs, 3 bottles Toyota brake fluid (a little left).

Cool. I should I had used a bigger clear container to see how much fluid I collected at the end. Mine looked darker but yours looks greener?

Thank you for motivated me to bleed it out, and I'm not sure why mine look like Simple Green.
Some kind contamination mix in there too.

Edit: I Googled it, seem like the green comes from copper corrosion, and I'm not sure this is normal. Another Toyota forum, one tech said that is mean the brake fluid has never been change before. I guess, I will wait for 6 months and bleed them again to make sure.

Dang! Well good thing you decided to do it! My car shows that a brake fluid change was done at 30k but it looked pretty dark at 50k. They probably just did the turkey baster method on mine.

Sounds like a good plan to bleed them again in a few months since it's not that difficult.

Does this get rid of the spongy pedal feel?

Also, where is the air coming from to pressurize it?

Yes, it should help with the spongy feel. The pump gets the pressure from the tire to which it connects.

Oh nice that's clever to use the tire air pressure to pressurize it.

I used the Motive adapter and it worked fine! I regret not buying one of these years ago as have been using the MityVac hand bleeder and this is 100x better.
