Question Issues when wheel's turned completely

I have a 2013 GS 350 F Sport and have had it for about 3 months now. Just hit 37k miles and I've noticed for the last several weeks if I'm reversing out of a parking spot and I turn my wheel completely in one direction and then reverse out (usually turn completely to the right when I'm backing out of my spot at work) it seems as if something is hitting / scraping something in the front end. I could feel it in the steering wheel and even as it reverses out it's not a smooth ride - the car is as if it's hitting something up front. Any idea what it can be? I haven't had a chance to take it in due to my busy work schedule and travelling... Could this be something really serious?

I had a similar situation and got it fixed.

I just took my car to the dealer to replace my pads at 18k miles and they are replacing my 2 piece Aluminum rotors with 1 piece Steel rotors with F-Sport pads for free.

The clicking sound comes from the jointing area of the 2 piece rotors so they are switching to 1 piece.

I was told that these new steel rotors will last longer than aluminum rotors.

Hopefully this will help!

So with this issue were you just hearing a noise, or did you physically feel the car shaking/hitting something when you had the wheel turned and car moving?

Have a buddy look at your front wheel wells while you turn the wheel from lock to lock, could be something scraping.

Good idea, will have to try that. Wondering if something like this is covered under warranty..

i couldn't download the TSB either. The second link to the other thread explained the issue with the brake - although I don't think the issue I'm having is brake related.

Looking through the service history on my car, I noticed this:

SERVICE: FRONT/REAR BODY
DESCRIPTION: FRONT/REAR BODY ~ ~LEFT FRT STRUT IS LEAKING / SOP ~ ~LFT FRT STRUT BLOWN ~ ~REPLACED LEFT FRT STRUT

Could this be the issue again? This was at 30k miles.

I have almost the same case with my GS350 Fsport lowered on Tanabe with 20" wheels when doing full turn, feels like my rims scrapping the ground. Anyone had experienced the same?

Maybe I thought I was crazy but I hear like a grinding sound like something is scrapping when I turn all the way to one direction either forward or backwards. I have a 2014 GS 350 f-sport AWD.

I did turn the wheel all the way to one side then got out of the vehicle and I saw nothing touch.

leaking struts at 37K doesn't make me feel harm and fuzzy. There is another thread with 2013 GS with both rear shocks leaking a low miles. Is this a common issue this is my first Lexus

Check your rotors. I was having the same issue and it ended being that the rotors were so rusted that they were pushing on the backing plate and causing a grinding noise when turning. Replaced the rotors and break pads and it solved the problem.
