Check out new General Gmax AS 05 UHP tires. No winter ratings yet but wet and dry very good. Just had them installed. Continental is parent company.

Can you keep us updated on the mileage you're getting out of them? I've heard great things about these tires.

I am on a set of RE50's right now and will have probably worn them down by Christmas. Looking at PSS's or PS4's too

Okay now i'm between the Continental DWS06 and Michelin A/S3 +. I also saw that the continental is only a little cheaper than the michelin. Do any of these have the rim protector lip? Which one lasts longer?

Thanks guys!

I have used the A/S3's on other cars and think they are great. I tried the DWS on a 2011 BMW 550 and they felt a little "squishy" and/or soft. Switched to the Michelin's and was glad I did.

However, we used the DWS on our 2010 MB GL550 and loved them!

So, either way you can't go wrong. Usually the DWS have a tread wear warranty and the A/S do not.

Is there a reason people go with the 40 in front and 35 in back? why not keep both at 35?

with staggered wheels, the different profiles keep the rotating diameter close to each other.

Default Michelin PS4s

Just got the new PS4s tires for my 2014 GS F Sport. The best tires I've owned BY FAR...I've also had the PSS on my 2010 GS...also incredible tires. Michelin got a $70 rebate starting yesterday...so there's that too!
