Default How do you guys feel about the fake exhaust tip on the 4th Gen GS?
The 4th Gen GS is the first Lexus GS model with fake exhaust tips.

I was going to buy a used Lexus GS from 2012-2015 (the one after 2015 has those ugly grilles, which I absolutely hate with a passion), but what threw me off are those fake exhaust tips.

How do you guys feel about the fake exhaust tips? Do you guys love it or hate it?

Is there a model that offers real exhaust tips?

GS450h has no fake exhaust tips.

Besides revised taillights, the MY2016+ rear is basically the same as the MY2013-2015. Keep in mind OP, GS450h F-sport wasn't offered until MY2016+.

I believe exhaust tip should part of the exhaust not cosmetic....

Haha, the first thing I thought was that my GS450h doesn't have visible exhaust at all but it looks like everyone here is on the ball with that.

I removed the fake tips and replaced it with quad burnt exhaust tips.

I like mine now that I power coated them black. Much less noticeable.....
