Definitely think it’ll stick around. Sat in the es today and it feels cheap. Definitely entry lux and unless they cut it down to just es and ls i think itll stay
C'mon guys...if they're eliminating it from all global markets, it's not going to stick around just in the US. Sad day indeed.
yes the reality is they’ll probably cut it down to just es and ls and stick with their suvs. But one can only hope. I’m just sad about the cheap quality of the new es. I thought it was better than that but oh well

Really, there is a big difference in interior quality between the new ES and LS? No way they can get rid of the GS if that is the case, way too big of a gap in price/quality.

There are some vehicles offered in the US especially with Lexus, Infiniti, Acura/Honda that they did not offer in other markets and vice versa, Japan and a few markets got vehicles that were never offered in the US.

i mean just some plastics/switches are things I’d expect in the Camry or other Toyota model not the middle class lux
Word is GS will have it's last year in 2019 or 2020. After, that ES will have AWD.
ES F AWD, would be a beast
Your kidding ? Right! ES-F with AWD. I’ve never heard such rumors until now. This would be laughing stock for every wanna be YouTuber car journalist as well as proper publication such as Autocar and Motorweek. First Lexus gives us the IS-F then they follow up with the LFA, RC-F & GS-F. Then Akio and his chief engineers signs off on the ES being the halo car of the brands high performance arm. What’s next a twin turbo RX-F lmao

The fact is, the GS just doesn't sell well. Lexus will not miss any of you. They have too many sedans and something has to give.

It's the same story for every automaker. How is 4 sedans too many? The rest are all the same.
Audi - 3, 4, 6, 7, 8
Mb - c, e, cls, s
BMW - 4, 5, 7, 8
The real direction it would appear Lexus should go is to be in line with these guys. Offer an entry level (ES, a4, 4), compact (is, c, a3), gran sport (cls, a7, 8, New Lexus), flagship (LS, s, 7, a8).
