Is Lexus killing (discontinuing) the GS Line ? (Merged threads)

The winding road we ran this time has a variety of settings, such as low-speed hairpins, S-curves at medium speeds, and places where there are undulations and the corners are not clearly visible. Then, the sense of security as a driver increased.
No, it was not just a sense of security, but there was a sense of acceleration and excitement that I had never experienced before with hybrid vehicles. It feels completely different from the variable rear suspension, where the accelerator is stepped on in the second half of the corner and the rear of the car goes inside the corner.

E-axel is a pretty neat trick, but curious how that will work given it's also a CVT in the front. I'm assuming the electronic rear simulates gearing identical to how the CVT reacts? Probably not the most sporty feel when accelerating, and dealing with "simulated" downshifts.

In my GS I still get performance, I still get the torque, and this time it's the car that's keeping me alive. I'm sorry for those of you who go from one new Lexus to the next, but as this model gets retired, and you move to other sedans, know that myself, and others like me, will take the keys to your beloved machines and keep them running and thriving for years to come.

Magnussen in Fremont is good as well, in fact anyone but Stevens Creek.

Same here. I would consider one of the SUVs, if they had a legitimate GLE/X5 competitor, but I really don't want a FWD-based RX/NX/UX nor do I want a truck-based and very old GX/LX. I have no idea what's coming next for me. My lease is up in November so I'll have to start thinking about it soon enough.

I do agree though- I am not personally a fan of FWD biased vehicles. The handing characteristics are just off, and they typically have a transversely mounted engine which I also and not a fan of

I honestly don't know what I would do if I were you. I tried to find something else to suit me when my 15 lease was coming up last year, but didn't find anything else I really wanted so that's why I picked up the 19 GS, though this one was a purchase that I intend to keep and probably pass on to one of my kids. The 19 was a nice upgrade with substantial improvements over my 15, but since you already have a refreshed model, a 2020 will feel no different than your current one, further complicating the issue. Good luck!

Is the 2nd Gen GS F coming? TTV8 maybe?

Seeing GS F's in the low to mid 40's nowadays too: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...5410/overview/
Genesis (not sure if 70 or 80)
Audi S6
I would consider a awd Avalon TRD (they look sick, and awd is coming)
LS500
That would be awesome, of course, that would still mean redesigning the interior, and if they did that, might as well make the v6 GS350 as well. Give that a TT v6, lol

Of course, saying that, the Nissan Altima has AWD, on the crappier engine. So yea....
