Default Which is the better deal from Carmax?

I'm planning to trade our leased 2016 RX350 to a 2013 GS350. So far these are the ones I'm considering:

1. 2013 GS350. Black on flaxen. 60k miles. 2 owners.
2. 2013 GS350. Gray on gray. 42k miles. 2 owners.
3. 2013 GS350 Fsport. White on cabernet. 60k miles. 3 owners.

All priced at $27k. All were from CA, previous leases vehicles and didn't had much maintenance history. Those info on hand, which is the better buy?

With the minimal details provided per vehicle, I would say the one with the least amount of miles

Yep, based on limited info choose the least miles or the color you like the best.

I agree on the lower mileage, but since I don't like gray on gray, I would pick the Fsport with the white on cabernet.

I think we'll end up with the white on cabernet. 60k miles for a 4 year old GS is a bit more from what i'm used to buying. I work for Lexus anyways so I'm pretty sure I can get a discount for service.

I also realized that even the GS with the lower miles will evntually get to 60k.

That would be my choice as well since its a fsport. I think its the best color combo as well, that would be my ideal combo. Black paint is really hard to keep clean, my white bmw always looked clean no matter how dirty it was.

Demand the maintenance histories. I bought mine from carmax, and my guy dug them up. You can't make an informed decision without knowing what required maintenance was done.

Why would u buy a expensive car with no history from Carmax since u work for the company. 60k 2013 car has a roughly 21-22k black book value. Keep looking you'll find something with less miles.

If your maintenance history is not recorded on the Lexus site, Carmax will generally only have the maintenance records since they acquired the vehicle. Sometimes the previous owners supply those records to Carmax, but that is the exception......

You can pull any Lexus history from dealers here.

http://drivers.lexus.com

You can create a account and then plugin the vin number of each car, then go under service history.

I agree, Carmax tends to be overpriced.

Carmax is so overpriced and they don't deal, so much so that I don't even bother looking at cars they offer after seeing them consistently pricing cars 3-5K higher then they should be or what other dealerships often charge.

2013 GS350 with 60K miles for 27K is way too high. I would look for better deals.

100% agree with these folks - you'll find a better deal on an equally good (or better) vehicle elsewhere.

Keep in mind that people stroll into Carmax's showroom because of their financing options (including their subprime options) and not because of their stellar sparkling vehicles.
