Default Waiting for a used 16 f sport to come down

I was wondering what you guys think about this. I've been away from Lexus for several years but looking to come back. I really like the gs350 fsport but my budget for a used one is max $40k. I was shopping the 15's for $35-39k but now Im thinking of waiting for the 16's to get cheaper since I like them better. Right now a loaded 16 seems to be going for around $46-49 in my area! Do you guys think it will come down to my budget within a year? Thoughts? Im in Texas - DFW area

They will come down for sure but there may not be a wide selection of 2016's available...especially in the F-Sport trim you're looking to get into by the end of this year. However, there are already a few that are in the low $40k range but not in your locale:

This is indication of things to come with the prices trending down...be patient if possible and you'll be able to snag a great deal on a 2016

I just picked up a 2016 GS f-sport AWD 45K it had 9K miles on it black mint condition back I June. I probably could have gotten it little cheaper but this was the only one I could find in MASS at the time, even now there's not many around.

Yea I'm thinking that since the 16 is only 1.5 years old there haven't been any really come back on lease yet so I may have to wait for that. Congrats on yours though. Every time I shop 15's and then see a 16 in a parking lot somewhere it just looks so much better in my opinion! I mainly like the front end and the newer steering wheel, gauges, and wheels.

A few of us were able to get brand new 2016 GS350 F-Sport for about/less than $44,000 before tax and title when Lexus had their December to Remember at the end of 2016. You may be able to get a brand new 2017 at the end of the year for similar price if you are willing to wait and if Lexus will have similar offers and incentives.

I live in Dallas but drove to Houston to buy my car few months ago. I bought my CPO 16 GS350 F-Sport back in March from Westside Lexus. Listing price online was around $49k and I was able to get the car at $44,327 before TTL. The car only had 6k miles

I'm just starting to shop for a GS350 AWD F-sport and I'm not familiar with the differences between 2015 & 2016. Can anyone direct me to some photos showing the differences?

I think this is the first time since the inception of the GS that the same generation GS was refreshed so significantly. The 2016 Front End changes were significant with new bumper/headlamp design/grilles and the 2016 featured refreshed taillights with full LEDs for all bulbs and a few interior upgrades like a new steering wheel and navi updates...just to name a few. Below are the Lux Package 2015 images vs the Lux Package 2016 exterior (fog lamps were removed from all 2016+ US Spec GS's):

Thanks! I managed to find brochures online for different years but they don't necessarily show the differences clearly.

This link may be helpful to get a summary of changes for 2016: https://lexusenthusiast.com/images/w...ss-release.pdf

Additionally, new interior colors and wheel options became available for 2016 and a slight bump of 5 horsepower for 2016.
