Default Wheels for Snow Tires

Was wondering if anyone here knew if a set of 18x8.5 with 50mm offset OEM G-spider wheels from the last gen GS (and IS) would fit my 2014 AWD GS350? I test fit the front, and the wheel came awfully close to the spindle arm but cleared it. I'm wondering if with a 245/40/18 snow tires, if Ill be OK. If anyone knows that would be great, thanks.

this is my current winter set up without problems. Feels better than the stock 19s actually I wouldn't go 245 in the snow though I'm on 235/45/18 with the spiders.

^I was looking at 235, but going for 245 allows for better prices and more options. Will keep an eye out for 235s though, thanks. Also, you wouldn't happen to have a picture would you?

i just didn't wanna go low profile 40s for my winters. And 245/45 will not fit cleanly.
235/45/18 is the the same circumference as our stock. 235/40/19. I don't have any pics on the car sorry. Just off car. But they look great. I actually prefer these wheels for my summers if they were 19s

come to think of it. They should be fine. I changed my summers from stock 235/40/19 to 245/40/19. And they look slightly better in the well

Figured I’d update this, with a 255/40 it’s close on a 18x8.5 wheel, but it works so I assume 235/45 snow Tire will work fine
