I drove a GSF for the first time recently and I have to say the car is firmly in the running against the Audi S6. The interior is well put together but a bit plasticy. The reflexes of the car though were quite a bit better than anything else I've driven in the class with the exception of the CTS-V Sport.
I have concerns with the GSF, from a practicality standpoint the back seat in the GS/GSF is smallish, maybe I need to spend more time adjusting the seats but it literally seems only fractionally if any bigger than my 335i in that regard.
Also, a big gripe I have is the gearing and transmission shift speed. Can't do much about the gearing but that's something I could live with. Does anyone know if they're going to release a firmware update to make the paddles more responsive? The lag when pulling a paddle was definitely noticeable.
The V8 sounds fantastic though and pulls hard. This was a pleasant surprise on the test drive. I was really impressed with the car. Later this fall I'm hoping to be able to arrange back to back drives with the GSF and the S6.

If I'm not wrong, the air conditioned front seat back rests in the 4GS are very thick and intrusive for rear knee room.
What makes things worse, is that the 4GS seems to have very long rear seat bases which makes the rear leg room feel even tighter again.
Then there's the sporty firm seat padding which not everyone likes.
The 8 speed auto tranny is very smooth, but feels slow to kick down.

As I recall, the GS F front seatbacks are not sculpted out like the regular GS seats, no doubt eliminating some rear seat knee room.

I only see slimming seats a possibility in pure sports cars where comfort is a 2nd consideration. Try sitting in a Lotus Elise, lol.

Sure there's plenty of legroom for the backseat passenger, but when was the last time you sat comfortably on airplane economy seats? I for one have never.
