Default Vibration when in 'D' with foot over brakes

Has anyone encountered vibration when in 'D' with foot over brakes and car is stationery. A loose engine mounting?

The vibration can be felt throughout the whole car. Steering wheel to my headrest. Have you encountered and rectified this problem?

Does it feel like the car is going to stall? It maybe a bad batch of fuel or water somehow got into it. Could be motor mounts as well like you said.

I agree with kingofire. This might happen if water got into spark plugs. Did you wash the engine bay?

No car feels fine, doesn't feel like it's outta breath or anything. I'll probably drop by the shop soon to get it checked out. 5 year old ride may need to replace the mounts. I hope it's just the mounts and nothing more serious.

I did a while ago. How do I fix this? Clean the plugs?

I don't know if cleaning the plugs will help. Maybe you need to replace them. I would talk to a trusted mechanic before doing anything because you don't know the cause for sure.

How many miles does this car have? What has your maintenance history been? Did you by any chance have your brakes replaced recently?

I didn't really take notice of the time line. How can the brakes cause the car to vibrate when the isn't moving?

Does the vibration go away if you put it in Reverse? If yes, then it might just be a bad mount. If its throughout the gears, then you may need to replace your spark plugs. If its a bad mount, it should be covered under your power train warranty.
