Question Should I trade in for a 15?

would anyone advise if it's a good idea to trade in my 13 for a 15GS non f sport? Other than the folding mirrors and 8 speed transmission and power closittunk is there any other features that stand out more than the 13 amenities? Thanks for chiming in Happy LABOR DAY!!

I would trade for a 16-17 but not for a similar looking car not worth it.

I just bought a 2015 CPO Fsport but I was also looking at 13s and 14s, same deal more or less. I basically ended up with the 15 because of the mileage was low and the trim had what I wanted, etc. BTW my 15 fsport does not have a power close trunk, although I don't know what the point of that feature is, it takes barely any effort to latch the trunk anyways.

Also you don't get an 8 speed unless you get an RWD only car. It's always been that way. Mines an AWD 6 spd and I can't say I'm disappointed though at all, the car is wonderful.

I wouldn't "trade up" unless you're going to switch cars honestly. I don't see the point of it. The whole point of these cars is that you can buy one and put 200+K miles on the odometer and it still runs nice.

If the 15 were a luxury or F Sport vs a regular 13 is the only reason I would consider it.

I wanted a 13 because they would be cheaper but I ended up with a 15 because I loved the Crafted Line. The higher miles got me in the car cheaper.

Besides the power folding mirrors and the different looking nav screen, there's no difference. My wife and I have AWD's so they're both 6 speeds.

If it matters, the Enform app will work with the 2015 but not the earlier models. Still not enough to trade in for, but worth noting. As SW15LS mentioned, if it were a Luxury or FSport I would do it. Otherwise stay with what you have for another year and see what happens.

At the bottom of this webpage, there's a Do I Need a New Car Flowchart:
https://www.consumerreports.org/cro/...-car/index.htm

It's a little silly, but certainly drives the point home...keep your current car.

The 15+ also have the free HD live traffic and folding mirrors if that matters. Had a 2014 F-sport and traded it for a 16 F-sport 10K miles on it it has all the safety plus features and the new front end and the nav map goes full screen

I realized I have too much money in this car to let go so I will keep it until I put 150k on it currently has 37,650 as of today, I'll stay with my 13+ and take extra care of it so that it looks like a 15

i know this discussion is on a cla, but i also went into a same model year as my is (2015) C class.. the interior was horrendous.. the car driving dynamics were really bad too (so much body roll, reminded me of my corolla), maybe i just like sporty stiffer handling cars? the interior was filled with cheap plastic and creaking.. it just felt extremely cheap

although, i'll say that the pick up and highway cruising was much more comfortable

Nope. My '12 didn't get pedestrian cross walk alarms that the next year models did but it's not worth giving up the 6 speed and stiff suspension setup to get cross walk and some minor navigation improvements.

But the 12, 13, 14 and 15 are the exact same design, Zero change,so not sure what you mean to "look like a 15" reference is about if you have a '13 model. The major changes from the 2015 model year are features not cosmetic or design. Now if you talk about the mid cycle refresh 2016+ GS then yes there are several changes both design, standard features and interior. I don't get why you would waste your money and take a massive hit in value by trading for essentially the same vehicle.
