Default Firm Driver's Seat

Just purchased a used 2014 GS 350. I love the looks of the car and it drives incredibly well (smooth, fast, precise steering), however, I find the driver's seat unusually firm against my back to the point of being uncomfortable. I backed off on the lumbar support 100%, but it still feels like a slab of concrete against my back. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm rather tall at 6'4" and had something similar happen where the curve of the rear seat didn't really fit the curve of my back... The effect was that my shoulders were contacting the seat well before any part of my mid back. I have an fsport without the fancy upper back seat adjustment of the lux model. My solution was to lean the seat rearward more than i wanted in order to have things comfortable and then adjust all the lumbar mid back to get it squared up. After that initial hiccup the first couple weeks I've been supremely comfortable for the last 5 years.

Play with some of the non obvious seat cushion tilt and seat lean to see if you can get something that works; it sounds like you have the opposite of what happened to me so you may need to lean the seat back forward more than you like to accommodate.

There's always a way!

Be sure to adjust the angle of the headrest if you tilt the chair forward a bit. The method is to give the headrest a good yank and it'll unlatch and reset to the original position.

I purchased 13 F Sport about 6 months ago and I too find the seats very firm. I can get comfortable but they are just flat out firm. I was just on a road trip and my wife looked over to me and said....these seats are firm! Our 99GS400 had much more cushion.
I get it....the f sport is supposed to hold you in place but I think it should have more cushion in the seats. Just my 2 cents.
Does the Lux have softer cushion compared to the f sport.

Default Yes, they are firm

My '13 seats are firm, if my memory serves, '14 leather little softer (F Sport too), but we like it that way, we made a trip to Florida, nobody complain.

IMHO the seats are great but tweaking them so it feels right is going to take you some time. Thank god for the programmable memory buttons.

I have lower back issues and I LOVE my f sport seats. The lumbar and lateral supports are amazing!

Interesting, I actually found my Lux seats to be on the firmer side as well, after adjusting all the settings, it definitely takes a good week or so for me to get comfortable.... which is very odd, unlike the other vehicles I have had in the past (Acura TL, TSX, CSX) I never ran into an issue with seat comfort.

Having driven many vehicles with cloth and leather/leatherette seats, I find that cloth seats typically have more cushion than leather/leatherette seats and hence, feels softer.
