What's your plan after 4GS?

The longer I have my GS, the more I love it and the more the thought of parting with it just doesn't sit well with me. Over 2 years into it and I still get excited to drive it every time I start it up. I am gaining confidence that I'll just buy out the lease.

I'm running my GS350 as long as it will let me, or at least up to 250K, about the only way I can see myself leaving the platform is if I pay off the car early and roll it into a GSF or something. .
I sure as hell ain't leaving the brand under any circumstances, unless Audi or BMW gets its head out of its *** and starts to produce a reliable car, but the odds of hell freezing over are better than
that. . It's sad too, because a lot of their cars are pretty nice otherwise.

You have it all wrong. Didn't you know that Lexus is working in conjunction with Dodge to replace the GS-F motor with a HellCat motor?! I just love all you armchair insiders that knows the future of Lexus models!

Nah, that's all wrong. My Lexus 'insider' tells me the GS is going 'all electric' with 1,775 lb-ft tire shredding torque and 0-100 mph in a mere 4.2125 seconds, with 480 miles on a full charge and can be fully recharged in just 18 minutes. The price will be under $50k fully loaded with the best-of-the-best of everything.

Plan to keep my GS for a while as well and would buy the next gen if it isn't canned. I'd consider the following cars (all used/certified of course!):
-Lexus LS F Sport
-Porsche Panamera (heard Porsche reliability is decent)
-Tesla Model S
-Jaguar XF
-Maserati Ghibli
To me, if the GS really goes away, the IS needs to get slightly bigger. Then the ES can become the Mid-Sized offering with a bunch of different options/packages including AWD. Seems like if the ES is the only mid-sized offering, it will need to have at minimum: a base model with FWD/AWD, a Lux pkg model with FWD/AWD, and an F-Sport model with AWD.

I'm at 5+ years with my GS350. My original plan was to keep it 6 years but we'll see.I only have a tad over 34K miles so getting a new car would be more a toy than a necessity. My next car will be leased for sure.

Lexus can not afford to lose the GS and put a fwd driving ES as the replacement in this segment. Do they not see what’s happening with Acura? No one even knows what the RLX and that comes with AWD.

If the GS line goes away, I would buy a 2nd Generation IS because they both look so alike. Preserve the GS until the price drives up and sell it??
Otherwise I will keep it for as long as I can with timely maintenances.

This is my first GS 350, my first Lexus actually, and I bought a 2013 in January of 2018. So, if they do away with the GS, I'll just drive this one until I'm bored with it. My average is until it is 12 years old or 8 years of ownership, whichever comes first. I never have trouble selling my vehicles because my friends know I take care of them. Sold the last 4 to friends and family members with my excel spreadsheet of records.
I tend to alternate between trucks and cars so my next could be a truck.

CPO Genesis G70
CPO Audi S5 Sportback
CPO Lexus GS F
CPO Mercedes Benz GLC
But I'd prefer to stay GS, if possible. Loving mine.
