Hi I just recently purchased a CPO 2015 GS 350 F sport. The shift **** was a little messed up and I want to replace it. It doesn’t appear to just screw left. Do I have to remove the boot? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I believe you just tug downward on the leather boot. Should unclip and this should allow you to twist off the ****.

I'm having this issue, but when I tug down, I hear it click and move a little but it doesn't come off completely to allow me to twist the ****. Any thoughts? Is it possible to share a quick video?

Thanks a lot. For the first step it isn't clear how to disengage the claw and disconnect. Do you just pull down or do you need to squeeze and twist?
