Congrats Cobra! How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? I just took my first foray into the lexus market with a used 2014 Fsport pearl on peanut butter interior. Love the car! Thought I'm constantly on here hoping nothing goes wrong with it and worried about maintenance as this is my first luxury vehicle. Was a huge fan of this GS generation since it came out in 13 and now a proud owner.

Having owned one now, it fits like a glove when sitting in the interior. The only other car I can remember having sat in that felt like it had such a great driving position and feel to it was the early to mid 2000 two door BMWs. This car has that feel to me.

Enjoy!

Having had it just 24 hrs, I can already see this will be a lifetime addiction! Trying to get my wife into an RX or NX next year. I rolled over $2000 from my trade in, and got the car for $31877 OTD

Congrats on your new car. I'm planning to trade my 08 GS for one like yours but a little bit down the road.

Is there any way to prevent the side view mirrors from tilting down while in reverse? I don’t always want my mirrors facing down like that. Thank you!

Make sure the L or R mirror adjustment is not selected (green light) and they won’t tilt down in reverse.

Interesting... I did not know about it, either L or R is up. How to make them both dark? press both?

I brought it home last night, when it was dark, so these pics are from the dealership.
Nice, funny you mention this, I picked up my 2015 CPO NGP / Cabernet F-Sport from Prestige, also. They were the only dealer in this region of the country that actually had a car that I wanted. Most of the f-sports you find in new england end up with high mileage or constricted options.

You can also adjust them to move in whatever direction you want by adjust the mirrors while in reverse. Then make sure either L or R is lit.

Congrats btw! Nebula grey was one of my favorite Lexus colors; easier to keep clean than my current Smokey Granite Mica.

Quick question (even though I have many)...

Does the stock stereo offer speed compensated volume adjustments?

It does, although within 5 minutes of buying my car it's the first thing I disabled. I find it too dramatic (changes the volume too much) on pretty much any car. Your mileage may vary, though.

This is also useful information on the inverse- EG "why dont my mirrors tilt anymore" this happened once and I was like WTF? then I pressed the L button and they
both tilted back.

Mike...how do I make that enable/disable this feature??

Thanks!

Billy

Actually, I figured it out. It's just that I didn't hear any difference with the selection On or Off.
