Default 2016 GS 200t dragging muffler

My 2016 GS 200t is dragging its exhaust a little bit while entering and exiting out garage. We have a fairly steep driveway. The muffler drags more when the gas tank is full as opposed to empty.

Any good suggestions out there?

If there is play in the exhaust/muffler, get some metal wire for example from a clothes hanger and secure your muffler(wrap it around the muffler and a body piece and twist the wire together). I know it's a ghetto fix, but it works, and you won't see it.

Aside from taking the curb at an angle... your options are limited:

1) Repave driveway
2) Lift kit

Sell the car and get a bus pass.

Backing into the garage would prob help too.

Nah, then he'd scrape it on the way out in the mornings.

Take it at an angle. That is the answer.

Either take it at an angle or go to home depot/lowes and buy some worm clamps and put them around the rubber exhaust hangers to raise it a little.

That muffler is Huge!
Take it to a custom exhaust shop and see what they can do for you. Like maybe a slimmer or smaller muffler or custom pipes/hangers to route it a little higher.

He said it happens more when the gas tank is full. So remove gas tank. Problem solved.
