Rear brake noise, comes and goes
Hello, I have a 2013 and my rear passenger side wheel is making a noise as if the brakes need to be replaced and its metal on metal. That being said, it comes and goes. I bought pads and rotors to do the brakes and pulled off the wheel climbed underneath just to realize my pads have virtually zero wear and the rotors are in good shape. So that leads me to believe its the parking brake. (Gotta love the electronic brake!!) So I start to test my theory I turned the "auto" function off and haven't been using the parking brake since, still making noise intermittently. If it starts to squeal I will pull over and simply engage and then disengage the brake and the noise goes away temporarily. This has been going on for about 1 week. I guess my question is, has anyone else run into this issue and also, does anyone know how to adjust the parking brake tension? cant seem to find anything on it for the electronic brake that the 4th Gen has online.
Thank you,
Shayne

I thought I was the only one, I am going through the same thing and will record it for better understanding of what is going on.

I had a similar problem on my car and I brought it to the dealer.
They checked my brake pad and told me that they still have lots of life left on them.
They installed brake shims and the noise went away.
