Default tires on 2013 gs 350 f sport rwd

i read in the forums that one member installed non oem sized tires on his car.

245/40r19 (vs 235/40r19) front
275/35r19 (vs 265/35r19) rear

my question is would these different tire sizes, would that void lexus car warranty? also, any problem with the performance? thanks

It's common to go one size up. No - it will not void the warranty.

I have that setup. Dealer never said anything when I had warranty work to replace the struts and other things.

Regarding performance, I feel no difference. If anything, the ride is just a hair less harsh over rough bumps but only if you are really paying attention.

I wanted to try your set up but Lexus tech recommended that the original tire specs be kept. The only Michelins I could find with the OEM specs are the Pilot Sport 4 S.

Though I didn't like how harsh the Potenzas were, driving on these, seem sedate and feels less sporty. Maybe they'll grow on me but this was my initial (and still is) reaction. Ride is much quieter though...

Also, tire center told me that all 4 struts needed to be replaced. I brought the car over to Sears for alignment since I have their 3 year unlimited plan and tech there said only 1 rear strut is leaking but recommended that both be replaced. Told the story to my service advisor at Lexus and they replaced both rear struts under extended warranty.

Couldn't believe that the struts had gone bad at 48000 miles.
