I decided to go a different rout on this, a bit overkill.
I ordered 3k HID's with MORIMOTO ELITE 50w ballast with relay(prevent damage to the car) and capacitor.

I think the clear lens with Yellow HID/bulb looks cleaner than a yellow lens.
It will also have the most usable light output and brightest yellow.

I have the PIAA Ion Yellow fogs on my GS and I went that route because I thought for the price and amount of work, it was the best overall value. I removed the old standard halogen bulbs and replaced them with the PIAA yellow bulbs. LED technology has improved in the last couple of years and I know that Philips and other LED makers are using high quality materials that have output that is better, brighter and last longer than halogen bulbs. Can't beat the price on a good old halogen set though!

Not sure who makes the LEDs for Lexus but I imagine most LEDs are brighter but may not necessarily be the right choice since certain applications need a wide angle beam that disperses as much light as possible to light the road ahead...

The yellow HIDs will definitely look amazing, with just a little more work, so good choice

It's kind of crazy that my Lexus when new cost just over $64k and it has a plastic fog light lens. My previous car 2010 Honda Civic had a glass fog light lens. Apparently this is just one of those universal parts Toyota uses in all their cars.

To alleviate the concern of melting the factory housing with the 50w ballast I just purchased a set of aftermarket OE replacement fog light housings made with High Quality ABS, Metal Housing, and Real Glass Lens for $20.49 on Amazon.

I prefer a plastic lens as I've had a few cars in the past with glass fog light lenses that have cracked due to rock chips.

my first bulb was piaa then the output wasn't that great, if you want the yellow color more than output then I would go for piaa. but my goal was output so I went with hid 3k and the output is better than piaa and the color is slight yellow/orange colored

Sorry about that! Our team is working hard to get those restocked as quickly as possible.

I'm glad LightWerkz was able to get you taken care of, they are great to work with!
