Default Lump in seat

Noticed a lump in my front passenger seat a while back and Lexus finally called me back to confirm they'll fix it under warranty. Just wanted to put it out there in case anyone had a similar issue.

I have that too! I'll have to tell my SA next time on my oil change.

Let me know how they fix it.

I see what looks like sunshine on the lower part of the seat back side. Where is the lump?

So, I guess the sunshine area is actually the lump. I can't be sure because there is no worded description other than just more pictures. Maybe that area was crushed-in and disfigured. Dunno. Good luck...

I know for a fact if I had this my SA would tell me it’s my fault. Hopefully you get it fix!

Interesting... I too have that on my passenger seat in the exact spot. Did the service advisor give you a hard time when you advised them of the issue?

I sent pictures to my advisor and he sent them to Lexus corporate to get approval to fix it under warranty. There were no issues or pushback from anyone.

I have an appointment in early January to get this fixed. I believe they are replacing the seat or at least the back portion if that's possible.

I noticed mine a few months after I purchased my 2014 CPO earlier this year but thought it was maybe something the previous owner had done. I may bring it up to my SA the next time I go in for my free maintenance to see what they say. Keep us updated on what the fix will be.

that looks more like it was smashed by a fella of a heavier sort, stretching the leather and distorting the color...but I'm glad your SA is being cooperative and taking care of it.
