Default New Tires - 2015 GS450h - Recommendations?

Friends,

I'm up for a new set of tires on my 2015 GS450h. I currently have Michelin Primacy MXM4 - $289/$331 installed (55K mile tread warranty). I was wondering if I should keep the same going forward, or move to the Dunlop SP Sport 5100 - $319/$361 installed (50K mile tread.)

The MXM4 seem to be a good set of tires, but can you recommend anything else?

Thanks!

T.V.

You should consider Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus tires.

I had the Dunlop SP Sports on my GS when I purchased the car CPO and didn't like them - the ride was a bit too harsh for my tastes but they had great grip. Tire noise was bad when the tread was low. I honestly would recommend you stay with the Michelin's if you like them and have had a positive experience or go with the Pirelli P7's.

When I replaced the Dunlop SP Sport tires, I ended up with Dunlop HP Signature tires which I am very happy with because of its overall performance over the last 10k miles and price I paid for all four.

If what you have worked well for you and you don't find them, you should stick with them. The 55,000 mile warranty is great compared to others!

No offense, but there are so many topics on this question, have you tried to perform a search and read the other topics?

From the main 4GS subforum, click on "Search this Forum." Here are the results if you search for the terms "tire recommendation": https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sea...rchid=18386278

Put on the Pirelli P7 + this week based on posts on this forum. Could not be happier! Replaced the Dunlop S'Max 50 that came OEM after only 8,000 miles because the road noise and ride were so disappointing. Made a sport drive through the mountains today and what I gave up in turn-in was minimal compared to what I gained in ride quality.
