Dead battery after 2 years - again?

While the original equipment batteries were made by Panasonic I believe the replacement batteries that Lexus installs are made by Interstate specifically for Lexus and label/tagged as Lexus batteries.

this just happened to me, woke up last week and found the battery dead.
the car (2015, CPO at 35k) was towed to the dealer at their expense, gave me a rental car to use (new is200t), and foot the bill no questions asked.
rental car was given while they checked the battery which took half a day and was replaced. they didn't want to inconvenience me more than they had.
I guess it varies from dealer to dealer but the CPO warranty does not cover batteries, clearly shown on paper.

I shared this with my Uncle, who owns a 2013 GS350 and replaced the battery the second time since owning on Christmas Day when visiting us. He was upset his Lexus battery only lasted 2 years from the replacement of the original.

I just replaced the original factory battery in my 2013 GS after close to six years. The car sat on several occasions for three to six weeks without being driven. Not too bad, especially considering the high daily temperatures here in Tucson. My 1994 SC 400 factory battery performed as well, but none of the replacement batteries was comparable.
