Headlamp time setting issues?

2013 GS is set for 30 seconds for auto turn off but every now and then it takes minutes to turn off. Anyone else having this issue? Double locking it doesn’t turn it off right away either.

I’ve only encountered this on my ‘13 when one of the doors or trunk wasn’t shut all the way after getting out of the car. Otherwise pretty much does what it should every time for me.

I read an article somewhere a year of so ago about vehicle batteries needing to be replaced about 4 months earlier when using the delayed headlight off feature compared to not using the feature.
