I'm looking to add a pair of 12" subs in my trunk. The reputable shop near me suggested 2 rear facing subs in a ported box. Is this the best style/position box for the GS trunk? I'm looking for a nice sound but, don't need a show quality setup ported thru the rear seat pass-thru or anything extreme like that.

Ported??? Never happen. For a couple extra spl's? and cause a ruckus in the trunk? smh go sealed box and if the guy really knows how to build a box go bandpass with the port firing in to the cabin. Best.
1 sealed jl 10w7 with 600/1 will be perfect
