2013-2015 GS F-Sport with Adaptive Cruise
i see a few highly equipped pre-2016 non f-sport models came with adaptive cruise control, but in looking for a few months, i haven't seen any f-sports with this option. mostly, i'm just looking for the button on the steering wheel in the listing picture - so i may be missing it elsewhere?
was adaptive cruise control an available option on the 2013-2015 gs 350 f-sport?
thx!

The 2013 GS F Sport wasn’t available with several options in the USA. The radar cruise control with pre-collision safety system was one of them. Also GS F Sport didn’t have the option of adding factory fog lamps or adaptive bi-xenon headlamps. Lexus unfortunately made customers choose between sport or luxury in the US market. I think Japanese customers had the option to combine the Luxury and F Sport packages in the 2013-2015 MY’s.

The USDM 2013 GS F-Sport was available with radar cruise as well as pre-collision sensors. The sensors were located behind the front emblem. They were simply not common features so you'll likely to see them on like 5% of F-Sports you look at.

2013 F Sports were available with radar cruise and PCS, I have one! That said, the one I bought was 800 miles away from me and I had spent a few months waiting for one to pop up. They’re exceedingly rare since most of them would have been special orders requested from a dealer, but they are out there.

I found my car in California (online). I live in Virginia. Took a while to find it but it'll eventually show up. Cargurus and the like do a pretty good job getting them out there just need to keep your radar (pun) up and running and be willing to adopt some concessions. I didn't exactly want a obsidian black car but for it being a loaded GsFs ...Black was fine. Shipping it from Ca, dealer worked to split the freight.
Keep at it. One will show up.

ok. this is good news, as i really thought the option just wasn't available on the 2013-2015 f-sport. so for the ones that have the radar cruise on the f-sport, is it the same setup as regular gs with a button on the right side of steering wheel below the 'display' button?

My radar cruise initiates with the lower right cruise control stalk that is familiar with with most any vehicle equipped with regular cruise control.
On the 2015 (and possibly the earlier versions) if you only have CC enabled, it adjusts proximity accordingly. If you have Lane Keep enabled with it, the car works both simultaneously and in conjunction with each other, holding the lane to a nominal degree for a limited amount of time. Kinda self-driving but not.
On the lower right of the face of the steering wheel is the adjustment for predetermined desired distance gaps from the vehicle in front of you (60, 80, 100'?).

Yes, it has the same telltale button for the following distance as the rest of the models.
