I start my car multiple times a day through Enform especially when the weather is at its extremes.

Anyone ever use it for the limited guest features? Never tried it.

  • Emergency Assistance Button (SOS)
  • Stolen Vehicle Locator
  • Enhanced Roadside Assistance
  • Vehicle Health Report
  • Vehicle & Maintenance Alerts
As far as remaining features not included for 10 years but rather 1 year complimentary are (as far as what is available for 4GS, I believe '18 NX and a few other models get additional features):
  • Destination Assist
  • Remote (Unlock/Lock, Remote Start, Vehicle Status, etc.)
But at $8/mo for the two above (each), I can live with that once expired. Glad we don't have to resort to shelling out upwards of $400/year to keep these features going as we've had to with TeleAid/MBrace in our past MBs (required to keep some of the emergency and roadside services which are the ones I'd be most interested in keeping but YMMV).

Yeah it shuts off when door is open. I don't know why? Maybe I guess someone can't steal the car while its warming up lol. I like my wife's Volvo as you can adjust heated seats, interior temp, auto start... pretty nice

Yeah. I don't see this is a worthless showstopper. About the very last thing I care about is having to start the car again once I'm sitting in it.

Car is warm/cool, defrosted, whatever...push GO button, drive.

Kind of neat but not very responsive. It took almost a minute! Are the regular touch gestures faster than that?

It's a hybrid. It was on when the lights blinked on the side mirrors. About 20 seconds.

It's about the same amount of time for the "lock-lock-lock(hold)" method. But I can do all of the Enform stuff from anywhere.

For my understanding- you have to pay $8 a month to have remote start on your Lexus (given its past a year old)

FOB start doesn't cost anything.

Enform service is dependent on your stepping in point and what year your GS is.

You have to have an Enform Remote subscription for the fob start to work.

Enform remote start requires Enform service. The FoB start feature comes with the car and needs only to be activated by a service department.

That's for the optional dealer installed remote start that was available prior to 2015. Starting in 2015 it went to Enform Remote, which requires a fee, including for the use of the key fob start.

That's why we have numerous people on here complaining that their fob start stopped working after their year trial of Enform Remote ended.
