Your driving mode for daily driver

Like others have said, stop and start eats up the gas. Luckily, I don't experience much of that on my commute. The only reason I waited so long to buy it was because I was afraid I was going to pay through the nose in gas. So far so good.
I'm coming from a 2000 Honda Accord V6. Owned it for 18 years. Moving to this GS has been pretty incredible. So smooth, great handling, and I am loving listening to music on the Mark Levinson sound system.

I should have gotten the hybrid. Didn't see any around when I was shopping. I have a feeling the hybrid rides smoother with the weight of the heavier hybrid battery.

Couldn't replicate the same results from B to A. It was a few days after that I got the chance to take this route. I also noticed the mpg dropped to low 20s during these few days and it takes a while for the numbers to climb back up so I doubt the gauge is even accurate at all. I think the gauge with 10,20,30,40 shows a more accurate number but you can't possibly be looking at it too long while driving.

I daily drive in normal and Sport+ and i get around 19 to 21 mpg. My commute is 60% highway and 40% city driving. I don't catch traffic but i do enjoy using the throttle so gas mileage is decent considering.

Now that’s interesting! Mine’s completely lifeless in eco mode. It’s great for sitting in traffic, because the car is just less jumpy, but on a regular drive it feels like it hesitates on everything, except full throttle! Hmmmm...

As far as I can tell, ECO mode only changes the depth the pedal has to be depressed to give the desired throttle opening. I learn a new mode in about 2 starts. I drive a Honda Civic, a Honda HR-V, the GS and two old carb'ed Buicks so the only thing that matters is where the floor is. WOT is still WOT.
