Default EBC fsport rwd rotors a no go?

Hey guys, just picked up a 2014 gs350 fsport rwd yesterday. I love it and it drives amazing, it just has a decent shimmy in the steering wheel when braking at higher speeds, so I can assume the rotors are warped. I was shocked to see how much the oem ones are! I don't mind buying them if I have to, but I was seeing if there's any cheaper aftermarket options. After lots of research, sounds like EBC is it. They say they will ship end of April. It also looks like members here have issues with them squeeling regardless of what pass are ran. Is the general consensus just to go OEM?

OEMs squeal too.

I'd go with OEMs myself to retain the 2-piece setup, but ultimately it's whatever fits the budget. Squealing brakes is just a thing with this car.

Yeah, mine squeal a bit when they're cold. It seems like people with the EBC ones make it sound like it's even worse with them. I would pay an extra $300 for that to not happen too.

Had a set of EBC rotors with OEM pad and squeal from the first day I install them. Had them for 3 weeks and drove for about 1000 miles. Squealing never went away. VERY ANNOYING LOUD squeal. Got fed up and switch to OEM 2 piece rotor. Still squealing on and off but not as bad as the EBC. My advice just go OEM.

Centric makes a steel replacement I may try. Summit racing has them for $120 shipped for the pair. I'll pair them with some akebono pro pads I think.

I ordered akebono pads and centric rotors. I'm taking my car in next week to see if my rotors can be shaved, and If not, I'll be installing the centric rotors when they arrive. Probably be around the end of April.

My brakes never squeal, 31K miles in L.A. traffic every day.
